Learn Tiny Tattooing in Colorado Springs with Real Mentors

Learning to tattoo shouldn’t mean unpaid shop work or guessing your way through YouTube. At Certified Tattoo Academy, we teach you how to tattoo small, clean designs in a licensed, supportive studio environment.

Our Tiny Flash Tattoo course is beginner-friendly, hands-on, and taught by real tattooers who still work in the industry. Whether you're near downtown or southeast Colorado Springs, we’ve got you covered.

  • Near Colorado College at 718 N Weber St

  • Minutes from the airport at 3725 Drennan Road

If you're not ready for full-time in-person sessions, we also offer a hybrid model with online support and flexible scheduling.

What You’ll Learn in the Tiny Tattoo Course

This 6-week course is built around practical, hands-on instruction. You’ll work under supervision and walk away with actual tattooing experience.

Here’s what the program includes:

  • How to Tattoo Tiny Flash: Focus on clean, minimal designs ideal for wrists, ankles, and patch-style placements

  • Machine Handling and Technique: Learn grip, pressure, and depth control through guided practice

  • Sanitation and Safety: Work clean from day one, with techniques approved by licensed artists

  • Design Placement and Execution: Learn how to layout tattoos for small body areas

  • Client Communication: Know how to explain aftercare, prep nervous first-timers, and keep things professional

You’ll start on practice skin and move to real skin when you’re ready, always under guidance.
